One of the most heartbreaking moments at the 2008 Beijing Olympics came courtesy of Lolo Jones. The Iowa-born track and field competitor was favored to take home the gold in the 100 meter hurdles, but she tripped on the final jump. Thankfully, the lovely Lolo has rebounded since then, beating her personal record for the 60m hurdles and performing well all over the world. She's also worked to help out her hometown, donating significant sums of money to Iowa charities.
