One of the most lucrative, and arguably dangerous, ways to make money is to go out and pick a fight with a dragon. These furious fire-breathers (or frost-breathers in some cases) have some serious booty lying around and tucked into their bones. I mean, even their scales and skeletons are worth a ton. On top of that they're often guarding chests packed with gold, enchanted weapons and jewelry. Plus you get a dragon soul to jack up your Shouts. Holy Divines! Why in the hell wouldn’t you go and kick some dragon ass?
Well, it's perilous, for one. Without the appropriate skill level or armor, you can get burned like kindling or frozen like an icicle in a flash. Best advice? Take an animal or housecarl and conjure up an atronach or daedra. Make sure there’s cover around like a tree or ginormous rock. Poison an arrow with magic damage and then unload on the flying menace with spells, preferably lightning bolts or chain lightning, drinking magic potions when necessary. Once you’ve downed the beast, go collect your booty and hit the nearest merchant to cash in, you dynamic Dragonborn!
