The First and Second Battles of Fallujah were a high water mark in the early years of the Iraq War. Marines lay siege to the Iraqi Insurgency stronghold of Fallujah and the multi-day battle for the city that ensued was bloody and controversial for the deaths of civilians and marines.

Six Days in Fallujah was a game that was made about the conflict, but never released. Atomic Games was set to release the game through Konami, however public outrage at the title's announcement caused Konami to skirt the game's release and it has since not seen the light of day.
