The universe of Silent Hill is a great environment to set a film in - it's full of horrifying mythology, scary creatures and has lots of unanswered questions. Probably the best Silent Hill fan film is The Confined, produced by Nathan Quattrini. I have to say, this is probably a better evocation of the video game than the 2006 feature film; Quattrini was actually trying to get a gig working on the sequel, but it doesn't seem to have panned out. That's OK, he's better off without Hollywood anyway.
