The shot heard 'round the world was the initial shot of the Revolutionary War in Lexington, Massachusetts and set off the real fighting between the British and the Colonists. What makes the Assassin's participation in this event exciting is that he could not only take place in the conflicts around Concord and Lexington, but also participate in the guerilla-styled fighting against the British as they retreated back to their base in Boston.

What makes this setting incredibly exciting are the forests that surrounded most roads and cities during this period in America. They set up amazing possibilities for our Assassin to fire rifles from the safety of the trees against traveling armies or to use the trees for cover as he surveys the locations of the Redcoats.
