Most people were probably content playing Nintendo's popular Zelda games without knowing how they all fit together chronologically. Nevertheless, Nintendo recently revealed a series timeline that ties the whole story together and definitely puts the Zelda games in the convoluted camp.
For one thing, to call this one timeline is incorrect, as it splits early into three parallel timelines. Luckily, none of them intersect with each other. Yet. Nevertheless, golden age gamers can now rest assured, after all these years of wondering, that the original The Legend of Zelda game they played takes place in the latter half of parallel universe number one.
