As with the first Dead Space game, the forthcoming Dead Space 2 has its arrival preceeded by an full length animated feature. Dead Space: Aftermath describes the backstory of the four first responders who arrive on troubled Aegis VII.

Knowing the Dead Space franchise, it will be a blend of gruesome horror and sleek high-tech science fiction.
