Law and Order. . . . Miami?
Young whippersnappers may've never known a pre-John Munch Richard Belzer, but, believe it or not, he used to be a stand-up comedian. Most of his act depended on him trying to be a cool and saying "babe" a lot, so he was sure lucky to get the cop gig.
I'm guessing this scene of him playing up to the whacked-out on coke crowd at the sleazy Miami club didn't feel much like acting to Belzer.
