Working With Bindings

In the Data view, you can do the following with bindings:

Option	Description	To
Connect\Disconnect	Connects or disconnects all data sources from the UI files to which they are bound. This allows you to stop the data sources from serving data to the UI file, while leaving the data sources bound to it. The data sources can again serve data to the UI file once you select connect.	Click $image\img00257.gif$ to connect all data sources. Click $image\img00258.gif$ to disconnect from all data sources.
Create Binding	Launches the Create Binding wizard to bind this datasource to a UI component.	Right click the Data view or Visual Editor and select New > Binding.
Collapse All	Expand or collapse all data sources listed under the Data Sources node.	Click $image\img00259.gif$ to collapse all nodes in the Data view.
