Visual Editing Menus

This section describes the Nexaweb Studio menus that provide functionality for use with the Visual Editing perspectives, the main Nexaweb Studio view from which you design Nexaweb applications.

Formatting Menu

The Formatting menu provides options for formatting:

The Formatting menu provides options for example for changing the text style of an individual component, or the text style of multiple selected components at one time. In addition, the formatting menu provides options for formatting components in relation to each other, for example by aligning components along an axis.

Figure 49 shows the Formatting menu items.

image\img00081.gif Component Alignment: Align all selected components to the top, bottom, left, or right.

image\img00082.gif Component Sizing: Give all selected components the same width, height, or both.

image\img00083.gif Component Spacing: Evenly space all selected components horizontally or vertically.

image\img00084.gif Font Name, Width, Style: Select the font name, width, or style for all selected components.

image\img00085.gif Text to Image Placement: Select where to display text in relation to the component's image for all selected components.
