Using the TCP Tunnel

You can use the TCP tunnel application to monitor network traffic between the Nexaweb Client and Server.

Configuring TCP/IP Monitor

Prior to using the TCP tunnel application, you must configure the TCP/IP monitor.

To configure the TCP/IP monitor, follow these steps:

1.  To access the TCP/IP Monitor configuration dialog box either:

 The TCP/IP Monitor configuration dialog box appears.

2. Click Add.
The
New Monitor dialog box appears.

3. Complete the New Monitor dialog box as follows:

Local monitoring port: Specify 4444 as the local monitoring port.

Host name: Specify localhost as the host name.

Port: Specify 8080 as the port.

Type: Specify TCP/IP as type.

4.  Click OK to close the New Monitor dialog box.
The monitor you added appears in the TCP/IP Monitors list on the
TCP/IP Monitor dialog box.

5.  Select the monitor that you added and click Start.
The monitor appears with a status of
Started.

6. Click OK to close the TCP/IP Monitor configuration dialog box.
This completes the TCP/IP monitor configuration.
