Padding

To specify a padding value for a component, follow these steps:

1. Click in the Padding value field in the Properties view.

 The image\img00189.gif button appears.

2. Click image\img00190.gif.

 A Padding dialog appears as shown in Figure 102.

3.  Specify border padding as follows:

A. Click the radio button beside the borders to which you want to apply a padding amount.

B. Specify a size in the value field beside the radio button selection.

C. Click the arrow in the picklist to select a unit of measurement for the size in the value field.

D. Specify a size and unit of measurement in any other active value field for which you want to specify a padding amount.

You can specify up to four values for the border padding attribute tag.

4. Click OK when you finish specifying padding dimensions to close the dialog.

 Your selections appear in the Paddings value field in the Properties view.
