To specify a padding value for a component, follow these steps:
1. Click in the Padding value field in the Properties view.

2. Click

A Padding dialog appears as shown in Figure 102.
3. Specify border padding as follows:

A. Click the radio button beside the borders to which you want to apply a padding amount. B. Specify a size in the value field beside the radio button selection. C. Click the arrow in the picklist to select a unit of measurement for the size in the value field. D. Specify a size and unit of measurement in any other active value field for which you want to specify a padding amount. You can specify up to four values for the border padding attribute tag. See Specifying Border Attributes for details on how to use this dialog. |
4. Click OK when you finish specifying padding dimensions to close the dialog.
Your selections appear in the Paddings value field in the Properties view.
