Nexaweb Basic Perspective

Figure 47 shows the Nexaweb Basic perspective, which organizes the workspace with the following views and File menu items related to developing Nexaweb UI components and presentations:

Views

View

Description

Palette

With a XAL (or NXML) file open in the Visual Editor, displays:
- C
omponents
- Containers
- Nexaweb XModify (commands)
- Scalar vector graphics
- Workspace and project plug-ins

that you can add to XAL (or NXML) files.

Layout Wizard

With a XAL (or NXML) file open in the Visual Editor and a component or layout pane selected, allows you to specify layout parameters for the component or the layout pane.

Navigator

Displays the files of the project in a tree format.

Outline

Displays the components of the active file in a tree format.

Properties

Displays the properties of the selected component.

Visual and Source Editors

XAL (or NXML) file visual and source editors.

Servers

Displays the configured servers.

Nexaweb Welcome

Displays the Nexaweb Welcome view.

Creates a new MCO.

XModify File

Creates a new .xm file to specify updates to a client UI.

Nexaweb Ajax Application

Creates a Nexaweb Ajax enterprise project.

JavaScript Managed Client Object

Creates a JavaScript MCO.

Nexaweb Java Plug-in

Creates a plug-in for Nexaweb Java application.

Nexaweb Java Application

Creates a Nexaweb application that requires a Java EE server.
