Nexaweb Ajax Visual Editing Perspective

Figure 48 shows the Nexaweb Ajax Visual Editing perspective, which organizes the workspace with the following views and File menu items related to developing Nexaweb UI components and presentations:

Views

View	Description
Palette	With a XAL file open in the Visual Editor, displays: - Components - Containers - Nexaweb XModify (commands) that you can add to XAL files.
Layout Wizard	With a XAL file open in the Visual Editor and a component or layout pane selected, allows you to specify layout parameters for the component or the layout pane.
Navigator	Displays the files of the project in a tree format.
Outline	Displays the components of the active file in a tree format.
Properties	Displays the properties of the selected component.
Visual and Source Editors	XAL file visual and source editors.
Snippets	Provides snippets from a variety of JavaScript toolkits.
Servers	Displays the configured servers.
Nexaweb Welcome	Displays the Nexaweb Welcome view.

File > New items:

Menu Item	Description
Project	Opens the Project wizard.
Dialog UI File	Creates a new Dialog UI file and opens it in the editor.
Empty UI File	Creates an Empty UI file and opens it in the editor.
Managed Client Object (MCO)	Creates a new MCO.
New from Template	Creates a new file based on a selected template.
Nexaweb Ajax Application	Creates a Nexaweb Ajax project.
Nexaweb Java Application	Creates a Nexaweb Java application.
Nexaweb JSP	Creates a new Nexaweb JavaScript page.
Panel UI File	Creates a new Panel UI file and opens it in the editor.
Window UI File	Creates a new Window UI file and opens it in the editor.
XModify File	Creates a new .xm file to specify updates to a client UI.
