Editing the Desktop Client Configuration

To edit the desktop client configuration, follow these steps:

1. In the Navigator View, locate the nexaweb-desktop-client.xml file in the application's WEB-INF folder.

2. To open the nexaweb-desktop-client.xml file in the Nexaweb Desktop Client Configuration Editor:
- Double click on it, or
- Right click on it and select Open With > Nexaweb Desktop Client Configuration Editor.
The Desktop Client Configuration Editor appears.

You must complete the following unique information for a desktop client configuration:

Server: Specify the address and port number of the server to which this desktop client connects at startup. For a desktop client, you specify at the Desktop Client Configuration Editor rather than as a startup parameter.

Context path override: Specify the context path of the application. When you launch the desktop client, Nexaweb combines the server, context path, and application URL parameters to form the application URL it uses to run the client. In the Desktop Client Configuration Editor shown, Nexaweb uses the following URL for the application:
