Applying a Style Component Class to a Component

You can define styles for a component or a component class.

If you create a style for a component, Nexaweb automatically applies that style to components in an application associated with that stylesheet.

If you create a style for a component class, you must apply that component class style when you want to use it for a specific component.

To apply a component class style to a component, follow these steps:

1. Select a component in your application file.

2. In Nexaweb perspective, select the Properties view.

3. Locate the Stylesheet Class attribute field under the Style section of the Properties view.

4. Enter the name of the component class style to use for this component in the Stylesheet Class attribute value field.

5. Preview the XAL document. Changes will not take effect until you preview your document.
