Adding Application Project Files

Nexaweb provides wizards to create application projects and application project files. See also the Nexaweb User Interface toolbar in the Nexaweb Studio Toolbars section of this guide for information on creating types of UI files.

Nexaweb application project file options include:

File Type	Description
Empty UI Markup	Launches a wizard to step you through creating an empty Nexaweb UI file
Managed Client Object	Launches a wizard to create a Java or JavaScript MCO to handle client events.
UI Stylesheet	Launches the Nexaweb Stylesheet Editor that facilitates the creation of a new UI Stylesheet file.
XModify File	Creates a new XModify file for the selected statement type.
File	Creates a new file of any type to use as a project resource.
Folder	Creates a new folder in the application project structure.
Nexaweb Application Project	Launches a wizard to create a new Nexaweb Ajax or Java application project.

Note: You must create all user interface files that will be visible to the user, including images and stylesheets, in the Web Content folder (or www folder prior to Studio 2.1) in the Nexaweb Application.

To add a project file, follow these steps:

1 Either:

Select File > New.

Click $image\img00018.gif$
Note: To make $image\img00019.gif$ available, you must add the Nexaweb Element Creation toolbar. See Nexaweb Studio Toolbars.

A file selection menu appears, similar to the following:

2. Select a menu item and the appropriate wizard launches.
