The Women's Basketball Rules Committee approved an experimental technology rule to allow teams to view livevideoon their bench during conference games for the upcoming season should the conference submit a waiver request.
Conferences that choose to use this experimental rule must decidewhattechnology can be used within its parameters. This is the second year conferences will be allowed to experiment with live video on the bench.
In other news, the rules committee selected Weber State coach Velaida Harris as chair for the 2022-23 academic year.
