Unlike many other states, the state of California does not put daycare records online. Because the state can't or won't do it, NBC Bay Area hand- scanned and uploaded thousands of records from day care facilities in the Bay's smallest and largest counties. The map below shows the locations of child care facilities in Napa County an Santa Clara County. Find your child's daycare and look up its records in this online database. Note that facility number because if you want to call the state for more information, you'll need it.

Note that for technical and legal reasons, some of the facilities in the map may not be in the document collection. We excluded small child care home facilities and elder facilities in the documents we uploaded.
