Here are the steps to getting your own list building started with my 'done-for-you' package! You will need a domain: http://rikmort.com/Recommends/Namecheap/ You will need hosting: http://source4host.com You will need an auto-responder (AR): http://rikmort.com/Recommends/aweber/ Once you have those 3 things, you can set-up your lead- capture page (squeeze page): Download the pages from here: https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/rm-websites/rikmort/Hot-Button.zip **** 1. Modify squeeze page. You notice there is no opt-in box on the squeeze page! (You can take a look at it before you have domain and hosting)! Un-zip the Hot-Button.zip folder. Right click and select the 2nd option = 'Extract all...' That will create an un-zipped folder. Now, right click on the 'index' (= squeeze page) and 'Open with' and select your web browser. (Or, you can see the page live on my site at: http://hotbutton.biz/Free-Offer/ ) OK, now you can see the page. It's basically 2 things: 1. Images 2. Text The way this page works is you use an Aweber hosted opt-in so that when people click on an image they re-direct to your form. Here's some videos to help you with setting up Aweber. Plus, also, downloading and using 'Kompozer (Nvu)' & 'FileZilla' http://richmort.com/Members/ListBuildingTutorials/ http://richmort.com/Members/CreateAweberForm/ The only difference is, when you get to the final step in creating your form in Aweber, you select 'Aweber will host my form' and copy the URL, rather than using Java script which you paste onto a page. Summary: Use Aweber hosted form NOT Java script or HTML code. **** 2. Then, open the 'index' page in Nvu (Kompozer). Right click on each image and select 'Image and link properties' Do NOT change the 'Location' but go to the RH tab marked 'Link' You can now see my Aweber form URL => replace it with your own! That's it, do that for each image, so, when the page is live, each image will re-direct to the AWeber URL. **** 3. If you want to change the download button (the one you have has my name on it) you can use: http://toraffic.com/images/Free-DL.png In which case you change the 'Location' and the 'Link' for those 3 x images! (That button appears 3 times on the page as I have it)! **** 4. The only other thing you MUST edit on your new squeeze page are the last 3 things on the page: * - My name => yours * - My website => yours (you could get HotButton . com / (anything) as a domain) * - My name as copyright holder => yours Other than that, you might want to change some of the text....??? **** 5. In the /Std-DLs_14-11-03/ folder you have another 'index' page which is the download (DL) page. You can see my page live, here: http://hotbutton.biz/Std-DLs_14-11-03/ You don't need to edit it, unless you want to say something about me. You are only allowed to use my name if it's positive (that's just normal respect and kindness)! Anything bad is strictly banned! That's the reason people normally say "you can't use my name!" But, I don't want to say that.... How would you want to be introduced? That's the way to do it! If in doubt, please just leave it as it is! [Sorry to all the 99.9% of normal people who think I am joking! It's always the 1 person (the 0.1 %) who cause trouble.] Please see your rights at the bottom: So, create your own DL page to upload to your server (domain). You can leave the download links as they are, if you want to (the MP3s are on my Amazon S3 account). **** 6. It's a good idea to add any offers / bonuses you might want to your DL page. **** 7. Upload both pages to your server (domain) using FTP. (Instructions for using FileZilla are in the List Building Tutorial videos) When your pages are live, they should look something like this: [YOUR DOMAIN] = squeeze page => Aweber form => [YOUR DOMAIN]/Std-DLs_14-11-03/ (you can, of course change that folder name, if you want)! Normally, I will re-direct to the DL page (or an upsell, if you have one). Plus, put the DL page link in your first email as well! **** 8. Go and buy. Then, save the DL page for Niche Domination Also, go back to the sales page and right click 'save as...' to save the page. So, you now have a product, a sales page, and a download page for an upsell! (Your rights the same as below, except you cannot give this product away. You must sell it)! **** 9. Create an email sequence to go out to your subscribers. i - First email = DL link for training. ii - Same day or next day = introduction. Introduce yourself. "I am here to help." Encourage people to reply. Ask what they are looking to achieve online. iii to xxi - each day, send a content email. You can write an email. You can take an article from eZine Articles (as long as you keep the author's bio in-tact). You can send them to an article on your blog or elsewhere.
