A young woman lives with her critically ill father and her teenage brother in a small Greek city by the sea. She has been working unpaid in a fashion-shop for months unable to afford medical care for her father and hopelessly trying to protect her little brother from bullying at school. She wants to cry out but finds no words. She wants to run away but her legs get tangled. One day looking for cigarettes in her brother's school bag she finds his Sophocles' Antigone book and slowly lets herself identify with the Heroine. Powerless and self-destructive she becomes a victim of her fate, walking the path to her own tragic fall and final catharsis, with a chorus of three young men leading her way.

Uma jovem vive com o seu pai gravemente doente e o seu irmão adolescente numa pequena cidade costeira grega. Há já algum tempo que ela deixou de receber o ordenado na loja de moda onde trabalha, há meses que não consegue pagar a assistência médica ao pai e desesperadamente tenta proteger o irmão mais novo de bullying na escola. Ela quer gritar mas não encontra as palavras. Ela quer fugir, mas as pernas entrelaçam-se. Um dia, à procura de cigarros na mochila do irmão, ela encontra a Antígona de Sófocles e, aos poucos, deixa-se identificar com a Heroína. Descontrolada e autodestrutiva, torna-se vítima do seu destino, caminhando o caminho para a sua própria queda trágica e catarse final, com um coro de três rapazes que a conduzem no percurso.
