阿斯哈法哈蒂第三部劇情長片，從以往男性敘事觀點移轉到女性身上，透過對婚姻生活充滿憧憬、深陷婚姻泥淖、離婚後獨立生活三個處於不同婚姻階段的女性角色爾虞我詐的交手過程，將人性的幽微難測以及道德立場的曖昧模稜，辯證得絲絲入扣。在《死期預告》中飾演死刑犯之姊的塔蘭妮阿里多斯蒂一改強悍形象，轉而詮釋純真少女，觀眾隨著她的處境轉變，在短短一日之內經歷了一場交織秘密與謊言的震撼教育。
Rouhi, a young maid who will be married in two days, is sent by her agency to the middle-class home of a husband and wife in the throes of a marital meltdown. Mojdeh, a wife on the verge of a nervous breakdown, is convinced her husband is cheating on her with the next door neighbour. She employs Rouhi as a spy, thrusting her into the centre of the maelstrom.
