โทมัส อัลวา เอดิสัน อาจจะสร้างหลอดไฟให้แสงสว่างกับโลก จนเป็นที่จดจำของใครหลายๆคน แต่สิ่งหนึ่งนอกเหนือจากความสว่างแล้ว ค.ศ. 1891 เขายังเป็นผู้ที่สร้างกล่องสีดำๆขึ้นมาบันทึกภาพเคลื่อนไหว ซึ่งนำไปสู่การสร้างภาพยนตร์ที่เป็นวัตถุที่จะบันทึกของทรงจำของคนเรา
แต่มันคงเป็นคำถามว่าสิ่งประดิษฐ์ของเขานั้นมันได้สร้างเครื่องมือบันทึกความทรงจำได้จริงหรือเปล่า และเราเลือกที่จะลบหรือทำลายมันทิ้งได้จริงหรือถ้าเราไม่ต้องการมัน
ความทรงจำของคนเรามันจะยืนยาวแค่ไหน ความทรงจำจะสามารถโยกย้ายถ่ายโอนไปให้กับคนอื่นๆได้หรือไม่ คงไม่ใช่เพียงแค่เราที่จะให้คำตอบ แต่มันคงเป็นสิ่งที่เราต้องค้นหามันต่อไป กับความทรงจำบางสิ่งที่ยากจะลืมเลือน
