"Newcomer Canadian writer/director Bam Bourdeau D'Hui delves into his dark, artistic side, with the short controversial drama, NATURE'S GRASP. Gage Finis (Austin Williams) finds himself questioning his nature, after this fiancé's best friend, Liv Enns (Nicole Friesen), tell him she's pregnant with his baby. Things may not be as simple as that for Gage, as we watch Liv dance and ritualize the wake of Gage's melancholy. In this dark, tragic tale, through visual narrative and majestic storytelling, we follow Gage and Liv as they fight through three days of personal struggle, heading towards an astounding conclusion, and ultimately, confrontation.
