Synopsis
Lipstick was part of Issa's life. She unconsciously used it as an object of compensation ― during her moments of sorrow and pain. But the lipstick became also part of her turning point.
She thought it's the only thing that could put color into her life. The loss of her father left a hole in her heart. Thus, to escape the painful grief and hatred she felt against her mother, she wasted all the money her father had left her ― to her heart's delight. Her obsession for vanity dominates her life and gave her temporary happiness and satisfaction.
Lipstick is her mask, for she thought she can hide all her sadness and pain behind those red luscious lips... but she's wrong. Her eyes tell everyone that she needs happiness more than the worldly things can give her.
