- Rita, Sue and Bob too is set in Yorkshire and centres around the characters of best mates Rita and Sue, who both live on the same "rough" council house estate. Both are in their final year at school and to earn extra money they baby sit for a couple (Bob and Michelle) from the "posh" new housing estate. Bob is unhappy with his wife and constantly argues with her and bemoans their dreary and, one assumes now sexless, marriage. One night when he is supposed to be giving them a lift home after babysitting, he takes them to a secluded spot for sex. Both Rita and Sue continue an affair with Bob until one night one of his neighbours spots the three of them out at a club and tells Bobs wife. Michelle confronts him about the affair and leaves him. The situation takes a further turn for the worse when Sue finds out that Rita has been seeing him behind her back, and also that she intends to move in with him. Will Rita and Sue be able to still be friends? or will Rita have to decide between her friendship with Sue and her relationship with Bob?
