The work and materials from this site should never be made available to students except by instructors using the accompanying text in their classes. They have worked together on many projects focused on improving student learning in the developmental mathematics courses.

These proven, class-tested activities have been developed over many semesters from the authors’ firsthand experience with their own students. Lynn and MaryAnne believe teachers of developmental mathematics should proactively assist their students in improving their study skills. We recommend you spend 80% of your study time engaged in reading, taking notes, and actively reviewing material for that week, and 20% of your study time reviewing material from prior weeks.
