It is easier for me to be content or satisfied in my daily life when everything is going well. In Philippians 4, Paul is saying to Karen and me that in the midst of life’s most difficult trial, we can be completely sufficient in His strength, power and grace. This is where we are resting in November of 2018.

"A Mom Story"


Condolences to Pastor Eldon Carlson and his family as they recently celebrated the life and legacy of his 94 year old mother, Eleanor. During her home going celebration the following story was shared.


. . ."Then the preacher had the audacity to ask for a cup of coffee and mom in no uncertain terms told him he was being “led around by his nose to that addictive coffee.” Praise the Lord that pastor was not put out, but simply shared the good news that Jesus saves."
