To make this hearty and tasty skillet dinner I simply browned some ground turkey in my cast iron skillet (a nonstick skillet works as well), chopped up several of my favorite vegetables and added them to the turkey, then topped everything with some shredded cheese. Luckily, there are a few kitchen appliances that can make cooking Thanksgiving dinner just a little bit easier. Not only does it cook faster and more evenly with the carrots, but it tastes better (if the thicker ones are all they happen to have they will work okay too). Added some cooked brown rice in with the veggies to bulk it up a little and it was fantastic!
