Resources

Use the Resources page to specify machine and labor costs, which you can add to routings on item specifications for tracking on work orders.

Resources can be facility specific, which can be helpful if the same resource is used in multiple facilities but with different costs. The following example shows how the same resource can have a facility specific rate.

ClosedCreate a Resource
  1. From the Resource page, click New.
  2. Enter a Company and a name for the resource.
  3. To make the resource specific to a facility, enter a Facility.
  4. Enter the hourly Rate to track the cost of the resource on a work order.
  5. Click Save.

The following table lists the fields that Kenandy provides. Your system administrator selects the fields that are displayed on your user interface.

Field Description
Company The company to which the resource belongs.
Description Additional information about the resource.
Facility The facility to which the resource belongs.
Rate The hourly rate for the resource.
Resource The name of the resource.
