Use the Inventory Transfer and Update page to transfer inventory from one location or facility to another without incurring shipping costs.
You can update an item's attributes on the Inventory Transfer and Update screen. This is useful if something about an inventory item changes after it's complete but before it's sold—like the color changes if the inventory item is stored outdoors.
You can palletize, depalletize, and replenish inventory on the Inventory Transfer and Update screen. Your warehouse staff might usually do these task using Kenandy Mobile.

| Company | The company is automatically populated based on your login credentials. |
| Item | The item being transferred. |
| Reason Code | A reason code that describes the reason for the transfer. For a list of valid reason codes, start typing. Note: You can only choose reason codes that are Inventory Transfer type. |
| From Facility | The facility you're transferring items from. |
| To Facility | The facility you're transferring items to. |
| Default To Location | (Optional) The default location you want to transfer items to within the To Facility. You can change locations for items in the Inventory Information table. |
| Attributes To Correct | (Optional) Leave blank when you're transferring inventory. |
| Optional Filters | Click to open the section, then enter any other item attributes you want to filter your search results by. |
You cannot transfer more than the available quantity.
The Inventory Change Detail screen shows the transfer you just made and the Inventory Transactions created. If you transferred from one facility to another facility, two Inventory Transactions created, Transfer Shipment and Transfer Receipt.
If the inventory you transferred is serial tracked, the quantity transferred matches the number of serial records you selected.

| Optional Filters | Click to open the section, then enter any other item attributes you want to filter your search results by. |

You can use the Mass Inventory Transfer page (which you access from the Inventory Change page) to transfer a large amount of inventory at once. You can do mass inventory transfers for items that are serial tracked.
