1. On the Inventory Transfer and Update page, enter the following information: 

   Company	The company is automatically populated based on your login credentials.
   Item	The item being transferred.
   Reason Code	A reason code that describes the reason for the transfer. For a list of valid reason codes, start typing. Note: You can only choose reason codes that are Inventory Transfer type.
   From Facility	The facility you're transferring items from.
   To Facility	The facility you're transferring items to.
   Default To Location	(Optional) The default location you want to transfer items to within the To Facility. You can change locations for items in the Inventory Information table.
   Attributes To Correct	(Optional) Leave blank when you're transferring inventory.
   Optional Filters	Click to open the section, then enter any other item attributes you want to filter your search results by.

2. Click Search.
3. In the Inventory Information table, enter the Transfer/Update Quantity in the rows of items you're transferring.

   You cannot transfer more than the available quantity.

4. Enter the To Location (if you want it to differ from the default) and To Bin.
   
   The From SKID identifies where the inventory is located and puts it in the From Location column.
   
5. Click Save.

The Inventory Change Detail screen shows the transfer you just made and the Inventory Transactions created. If you transferred from one facility to another facility, two Inventory Transactions created, Transfer Shipment and Transfer Receipt.

If the inventory you transferred is serial tracked, the quantity transferred matches the number of serial records you selected.

1. From the Inventory Transfer and Update page, enter the required information: 

   Company	The company is automatically populated based on your login credentials.
   Item	The item being updated.
   Reason Code	A valid reason code, which states the reason for the update. For a list of valid codes, start typing. Note: You can only choose reason codes that are Inventory Transfer type.
   From Facility	The facility the item you're updating is in.
   To Facility	The facility the item you're updating goes to. For item attribute updates, the To Facility and From Facility can be the same.
   Default To Location	(Optional) The default location you want to transfer items to within the To Facility. For item attribute updates, you can leave this field blank.
   Attributes To Correct	The item attributes you want to update. You can enter more than one attribute in this field.
   Optional Filters	Click to open the section, then enter any other item attributes you want to filter your search results by.

2. Click Search.
3. In the Inventory Information table enter the Transfer/Update Quantity in the rows of items you're updating.

   You cannot update more than the available quantity.

4. Enter the updates to the attributes you want to change in the table columns.
   
   For example, to change a lot number, enter a different lot number in To Lot Number.
   
5. Click Save.

The Inventory Change Detail screen shows you the updates you just made to the inventory item and the Inventory Transaction created, a Transfer.

If the inventory you transferred is serial tracked, the quantity transferred matches the number of serial records you selected.

To palletize inventory, follow these steps: 

1. On the Inventory Transfer and Update page, enter the Item you want to palletize.
2. Enter a Reason Code.
3. In the Attributes to Correct field, enter Packaging UOM.
4. Click Search.
5. On the inventory line you want to create a pallet from, enter the following information: 
   • To Packaging UOM
     Enter PT (or your company's pallet UOM).
     Note: You can't skip a level. For example, you can't put eaches onto pallets.
   • To License Plate Number
     Enter a new LPN.
   • Transfer/Update Quantity
     Enter the number of items you want to palletize.
6. Click Save.

Kenandy does the following:

• Creates an inventory change that includes a Transfer inventory transaction
• Creates a Palletize inventory transaction if you created a full pallet
• Creates a Location SKID for the palletized inventory

To depalletize inventory, follow these steps: 

1. On the Inventory Transfer and Update page, enter the Item you want to depalletize.
2. Enter a Reason Code.
3. In the Attributes to Correct field, enter Packaging UOM.
4. Click Search.
5. On the inventory line you want to create a pallet from, enter the following information: 
   • To Packaging UOM
     Enter the packaging UOM the items will be in after they're depalletized.
     Note: You can't skip a level. For example, you can't break pallets into eaches. You must break pallets into cases, then break cases into eaches.
   • Transfer/Update Quantity
     Enter the number of items you want to depalletize.
6. Click Save.

Kenandy does the following:

• Creates an inventory change that includes a Transfer inventory transaction and a Break Package inventory transaction (if you broke a package)
• Creates a Location SKID for the depalletized inventory

To replenish inventory, follow these steps: 

1. On the Inventory Transfer and Update page, enter the Item you want to replenish.
2. Enter a Reason Code.
3. In the Attributes to Correct field, enter Packaging UOM.
4. Click Search.
5. On the inventory line you want to replenish, enter the following information: 
   • To Packaging UOM
     Enter the Packaging UOM you're using for the items that go into the bin you're replenishing.
     Note: You can't skip a level. For example, you can't break pallets into eaches. You must break pallets into cases, then break cases into eaches.
   • To Location
     Enter the location you're replenishing into. This can be the same as the From Location if you're replenishing from one bin to another in the same location.
   • To Bin
     Enter the bin you're replenishing.
   • Transfer/Update Quantity
     Enter the number of items you're adding to the To Bin.
6. Click Save.

Kenandy does the following:

• Creates an inventory change that includes a Transfer inventory transaction and a Break Package inventory transaction
• Creates a Location SKID for the replenished inventory

You can use the Mass Inventory Transfer page (which you access from the Inventory Change page) to transfer a large amount of inventory at once. You can do mass inventory transfers for items that are serial tracked.

1. From the Inventory Change list view page, in the View field, select All, and click Go.
2. Click Mass Inventory Transfers.
3. Enter the Default From Location and Default To Location.

   If you specify the default location at the header level, it is applied to each line, where you can change it if needed.

4. Enter a Reason Code.

   If you specify the Reason Code at the header level, it is applied to each line, where you can change it if needed.

5. To specify the items you want to transfer, click Add Row.
6. Enter the item to transfer.
7. Click the carat to the left of the item name to expand the line.
8. Enter more information about the item.
   • From Location and To Location: If specified in the header, the default location is displayed. If not, enter current location of the item.
   • To Bin: If the location is bin tracked, enter the bins you're transferring this inventory to.
   • Transfer Quantity.
     You cannot transfer more than the available quantity.
   • If the item has additional item attributes enabled, enter that attribute information.
     For example, you might need to enter the lot ID and expiration date.
   • If the item is serial tracked, click Serials and enter the serial numbers for the items you want to track.
9. Repeat steps 5-8 to transfer more items.
10. Click Save.

The items are transferred.

Kenandy does the following: 

• Creates an inventory change with inventory transactions for each row you added to the Mass Inventory Transfer page
• Updates the Location SKID for each item you transferred
• If items were serial tracked, creates Serial Transactions

The following table lists the fields that Kenandy provides. Your system administrator selects the fields that are displayed on your user interface.

Inventory Transfer and Update Page

Field	Description
Company	The company associated with the transfer. You can't change the Company here.
Item	The item being transferred.
Reason Code	The reason code for the transfer. A valid reason code that's an Inventory Transfer type is required to explain the transfer. You set up these codes on the Reason Codes page.
From Facility	The facility the inventory will be transferred from.
To Facility	The facility the inventory will be transferred to.
Default To Location	The default location you want to transfer items to within the To Facility.
Attributes To Correct	The item attributes you want to update. You can enter more than one attribute in this field.
