Use the Facility Item page to maintain required stocking levels and lead time information for an item at the facility level. If specified at the facility level, MRP uses those values, otherwise it uses the values specified on the item master. If you plan to cycle count at the facility level, you can assign an ABC code to a facility item. To specify the cycle count interval, go to the Facility page.
The item detail and MRP information is displayed.
For example, update the Lead Time and Safety Stock.
The following table lists the fields that Kenandy provides. Your system administrator selects the fields that are displayed on your user interface.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| ABC Code | The priority code used for cycle counting. To set up the intervals between cycle counts, go to the Company page. |

| Aggregation Days | The aggregation days for the item. MRP uses this field. If Use Lot Size is selected, this value indicates the number of days over which MRP aggregates planned orders. |
| Company |
The company to which the facility and facility item belong. |
| Description | The description to further describe the facility item. |

The automatically-created name for the selected item. |

| Last Cycle Count | The date on which this item was last counted. |
| Next Cycle Count Date | The next cycle count for the item. The date of the next cycle count is based on the date of the last cycle count plus the number of days defined for the corresponding A, B, or C code. |
The ordering multiple for the item. The ordering multiple is used by MRP to plan orders. If the ordering multiple is 25, and the actual demand is 70, then an order of 75 is suggested. |
The amount of stock over and above the forecast that provides a buffer for unanticipated needs. |
The loss of inventory due to defective or unusable material; expressed as a percentage. MRP inflates the planned orders to cover shrinkage. |
The source for the item. The item source controls the behavior of the item as it moves through various process flows in Kenandy. For example, a Manufactured item informs MRP. |
An indication of whether lot sizing applies to the item. The primary purpose of lot sizing is to inflate the planned requirement to protect against unexpected shortages. If lot sizing is selected for the item, but Safety stock, Shrinkage, EOQ, and the Order Multiple are all set to zero, it is equivalent to no lot sizing. If Use Lot Sizing is not selected, then the lot for lot technique is used. |
