In the first of my blog posts on helping L&D department move forward, I want to focus on how we can help others learn continuously using social media. Check out today’s infographic from MDG Advertising to see some of the most infamous social media blunders from the past few years.
While many people are buying fake followers to boost their numbers for various reasons, they are obviously missing the point of social media. 76 % of those surveyed said they visit social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Foursquare.
The blunders of Ashton Kutcher, Anthony Weiner, Kenneth Cole, Ragu and the American Red Cross can serve as lessons for everyone using social media personally or professionally.


In fact, moms as a group are the most likely demographic to connect with brands in the social space.
Today’s infographic takes a look at how social media is going corporate and how businesses are blogging, tweeting, pinning and posting to connect with their customers.
It also shows that the size of your company shapes where users think social media will have the greatest impact. A recent report by Burst Media revealed some interesting statistics about how people interact with brands on social meda. Knowing how all of your social activity works together, and what your brand message is is important in presenting a clear personal brand to potential clients, partners, employers or employees.


But after thinking about it, we decided it was share-worthy, and that there is no way to over-emphasize the importance of visual storytelling when it comes to your brand’s social content.
