REMOVAL
1.
Remove the transmission
(Refer to 21 - TRANSMISSION/TRANSAXLE/AUTOMATIC - 42RLE - REMOVAL),
(Refer
to 21 - TRANSMISSION/TRANSAXLE/AUTOMATIC - 45RFE/545RFE - REMOVAL).
2.
Paint mark the flex plate hub to flex plate relation.
3.
Remove the 40 mm flex plate bolts (1) and flex plate (2).
4.
Inspect flex plate (2) for damage.
