Vehicles equipped with an optional Trailer Tow package have a trailer tow wiring harness (3) connected between the body wire harness take out for the left rear lamp and the left rear lamp unit. The trailer tow wiring is routed through the left rear lamp cavity of the body to the left rear frame rail (2) then back to the rear crossmember. The wiring is secured to the frame rail and crossmember with molded plastic offset clips. A molded rubber four-way connector and cover (4) are pushed into a stamped metal tab bracket (1) that is welded to the left side of the trailer hitch receiver platform (5).
