DEAR PASSENGER
W
ELCOME ABOARD! THE
peak travel season is upon
us and Wizz Air has already
experienced an early spike in summer
traffic thanks to the Euro 2012 football
matches held in Poland and Ukraine.
Throughout June, Wizz Air supported fans
travelling to/from and in between the host
countries. We increased the frequency of
flights between Katowice and Kiev to meet
the demand generated by fans of both
football and Wizz Air ’s low fares.
June wasn’t just a great month for
Spanish football fans. On 25 June, visitors
to Wizzair.com had something to celebrate
too – the launch of our brand-new
website! The new Wizzair.com has a more
user-friendly design and an improved
booking interface to make your flight
reservation experience even more efficient.
Visit the new website today to check out
the improvements and take advantage of
Wizz Air ’s everyday low fares.
While you are browsing, check out the
updated interactive map highlighting the
exciting destinations you can reach from
each of the 78 airports in our network.
You’ ll notice some important new
destinations. In September 2012, Wizz Air
will be the first carrier to bring low fares
to Georgia with flights from Kutaisi to
Kiev. In late October 2012, Wizz Air will
open its 16th operational base in Skopje,
Macedonia. This one aircraft base will be
home to six new routes to/from Basel-
Mulhouse, Eindhoven, Dortmund, Malmo,
Milan-Bergamo and Munich-Memmingen
in addition to the existing routes to/from
London Luton and Venice-Treviso. Finally,
Wizz Air is to begin operations from the
new Lublin Airport in Poland with flights
to/from London-Luton on 18 December
and to/from Oslo-Torp as of early 2013.
With the addition of Lublin, Wizz Air will
fly to a total of seven airports in Poland.
We also have our entire winter
2012-2013 network available for booking.
Visit the new and improved Wizzair.com
today to check out frequency increases on
our most popular routes and check back
regularly to watch our network continue
to expand across Europe. We now operate
in 28 countries and expect to bring
hassle-free, low-fare flying to more than
12 million passengers in the coming year.
Finally, we welcome those of you
travelling with us to London to cheer on
the athletes at the 2012 London Olympic
Games. This summer, Wizz Air is uniting
fans from 24 destinations in 10 countries to
see their favourite sporting events and be
a part of the Olympic spirit.
On behalf of the Wizz Air team, we
thank you for choosing to fly with us
and wish you a pleasant journey.
