are set to gather in April
to celebrate the best of

cuisine. The food
fair’s three constituent
events highlight the two
countries’ unique foods
and culinary expertise.

and seasonal ingredients,
“modern culinary rituals” and
“Xtreme Filipino” dishes.
And the chefs involved are
far from ordinary. Taking
part are big names such as
award-winning, Michelin-
starred chef Elena Arzak of
San Sebastián’s celebrated
Arzak, Francis Paniego of
Echaurren in Ezcaray and
Paco Roncero of La Terraza
del Casino in Madrid.
Homegrown chefs taking
part include Margarita Fores
of Grace Park, Fernando
Aracama of Aracama and
Myrna Segismundo of New
Manila.
Attendees enjoy the chance to
sample regional lunches that
showcase Philippine meats,
produce and other delicacies.

Familiarize yourself with a

at the Trade Exhibition, which
also features food service
equipment. Browse offerings
ranging from Spanish wines,
cheeses, meats and sweets

wine pairings — just be sure
to beat the rush by reserving
a spot early. The Trade
Exhibition is open to industry
professionals but the
public can check it out
