Vista Residences, the high-rise condominium arm of property
developer Vista Land, has launched a better option than dorm
living. Its “University Series” — eight vertical residences built close
to universities — is designed for students and faculty members who
live away from home. Each of the buildings is equipped for safety
and security, with a guarded reception area and parking lot, smoke
and fire alarms, sprinkler systems, generators and CCTV systems in
most common areas.
Each university tower is designed around the needs of a typical
student and decked out with amenities inspired by Google’s offices.
Every tower has a modern E-Library and learning hub, a fitness
center ideal for recreational sports, a swimming pool, a roof deck
and multi-purpose function rooms ideal for study groups, school
meetings or parties. And in an effort to be eco-friendly, each tower
is fitted with solar panels in select communal areas along with
mobile charging stations. Vista Residences’ four standing university
projects, namely Crown Tower University Belt, Vista 309 Katipunan,
Vista Taft and España 878, have all sold out. Owing to that success,
five more towers are on the rise — Vista GL Taft, Vista Heights in
Legarda, Vista Brenthill in Baguio, Vista Katipunan in Quezon City
and Vista Recto in Manila.
