TEA TIME
Satisfy your appetite for
the high life at fashion
hotel
Palazzo Versace
.
Visit Le Jardin, the hotel’s lobby
bar with its glimmering crystal
and vaulted ceilings, and enjoy a
high tea served with tea, coffee or
champagne.
WE ASK,

Have a swim in LennoxHead’s Lake
Ainsworth – the tea treewater is said
to have rejuvenating properties.”

LOOKOUT LOOKOUT, WHEREVER YOU ARE
The Gold Coast has many natural wonders, but
Springbrook National Park
is particularly picturesque.
Visit the “Best of All Lookout” or one of the many waterfalls,
especially in the wet season. The park is also famous for the Natural
Bridge, a stunning rock-art formation over Cave Creek. At night the
bridge comes to life with glowworms.
SEPPO SUPPERS
Ze Pickle
is the new kid on the
block and making a name for itself
as a must-visit for American-style
cuisine. Sink your teeth into one of
the burgers, chilli dogs or kumara
chips served with minted yoghurt.
Come nightfall, the restaurant
morphs into a trendy nightspot
serving cocktails and boutique
beers.

TAKE A HIKE
Pack your drink
bottle and a torch,
and set out for a pre-
dawn adventure to climb
Mount
Warning
.
Despite its ominous
name, the walk is a gentle incline
that takes most walkers four hours
to trek. At the peak of the ancient
volcano you will be rewarded with
panoramic views, and if you time
it right, your face could be the first
place the sun hits on Australia’s
mainland.
PICNIC
ON THE
HILL
If you are
within the vicinity of the
Southern Gold Coast
and have a few hours
spare, pack a picnic
hamper and a rug, and
head to
Burleigh Hill
.
Best enjoyed as the sun
sets, the hill is where
the locals congregate
with their kids and
friends to enjoy the
perfect view.
