Norwegian’s long-haul fleet is significantlymore fuel-efficient than any of the top20 transatlantic
airlines, a report revealed late last year. The International Council onClean Transportation reported
thatNorwegian’sBoeing 787-8fleet burned 14per cent less fuel per passenger kilometre than its
closest rival on the list, and around50per cent less than the three lowest-placed, big-name airlines.
