SUWAŁKI BLUESFESTIVAL
From10-12July, 2014,Suwałkiwillhost theseventhedition
of its liveblues festival,which in justsixyearshasestablished
itselfas the largestandmost importantoutdoorblues festival in
Polandandnorth-easternEurope.And it’sgrowing inpopularity
yearafteryear,withnearly20,000expected toconvergeon the
city thissummer.
Over threedays,blueswillfill thewholecityas it’splayed live
around theclock.Startingwithearlymorningbreakfastblues,
eachdaywill then featurechamberconcerts in theclubsand
on thestreets, largeopen-airconcertsand intimateevening jam
sessions.Alongside this,photographicexhibitions,workshops,
publicationsandequipmentpresentationswilldelve into the
uniqueculture thatsurrounds thegenre.
