this custom, handcrafted
denim boutique in April in response to
what he says is a growing Thai market
for artisanal goods. Pick from reels of
denim (there are rich indigo hues, icy
blues, stonewashes and faded blacks –
much of it from Japan) in a variety of
cuts (from stovepipes to regular cuts).
The best part is choosing the smaller
details, though. Think buttons,
threads and pockets. Selvedgework
now sell soft leather bags from France
and custom shirts. The gregarious
Boom is passionate about sustainable
fashion and will happily steer you in
the direction of the city’s best vintage
stores.
