More About Electra, TX
Electra is a city in Wichita County, Texas, United States. It is part of the Wichita Falls metropolitan statistical area. The population was 2,791 at the 2010 census.,[3] down from 3,168 in 2000. Electra claims the title of Pump Jack Capital of Texas, a title made official by the state in 2001,[4] and has celebrated an annual Pump Jack Festival since 2002.[5] It was named in honor of Electra Waggoner, an heiress to the Waggoner Ranch.[6]
Daniel Waggoner started a ranch in present-day Electra in 1852. Around 30 years later, the Fort Worth and Denver City Railway was built, and its railroad tracks ran through the area. In 1885, Waggoner’s son, William Thomas Waggoner, successfully lobbied railroad executives to build a railroad station at the site. By this time, the Waggoner ranch covered a half-million acres. Until this time, the town was called Waggoner, but following the building of the station and a post office in 1889, it was dubbed Beaver Switch, after the nearby Beaver Creek. The opening of 56,000 acres (230 km2) of land north of the railroad station brought more farmers to the area. The town was renamed again in 1907, this time after Waggoner’s daughter, Electra Waggoner.
Every cooling system includes an evaporator coil. The coil flows refrigerant throughout a loop, which is what cools the air that moves through the spaces in your Guyton, Georgia, house or workplace. If your evaporator coil starts to leak, it’s easy to worry and not understand what to do. But with the aid of a HVAC professional and a fast action to the issue, you can get your evaporator coil up and running in no time.
But when you use cleaning items, aerosol air fresheners, adhesives for craft projects, and other chemicals in your house, they typically contain unstable organic compounds (VOCs). As VOCs integrate with moisture in the air, they can produce acids that form small pinhole leaks in the coil. These tiny holes, also referred to as “formicary tunneling rust,” enable air from the outdoors into your home.
The issue that lots of property owners face is understanding whether they have refrigerant leakages. The holes in the copper coil are very small, so they’re challenging to detect simply by taking a look at the component. Your evaporator coil also isn’t instantly visible to somebody taking a look at the HVAC system, so a leak requires medical diagnosis by a skilled A/C professional.
Here in the Guyton location, we experience warm and damp temperature levels throughout much of the year. So most home owners rely greatly on their air conditioning systems to keep their houses comfy during the late spring, summertime, and even early fall. If your cooling system takes a long time to cool your home down, this is a sign that you may have a refrigerant leakage.
It may not have the ability to maintain, resulting in warm and uncomfortable temperature levels throughout interior spaces. When you switch on your air conditioner or lower the thermostat, the cooling system must kick on immediately to start blowing cold air through the vents. If the air flow feels weak or does not switch on right now, you might have a refrigerant leakage.

These signs could indicate other issues with the cooling system, however having warm air come out of your vents when the cooling system is on is never ever a great sign. If you do have this occur, shut off your system and call an A/C professional to examine. Keeping the system on may cause additional damage.
But this isn’t like the gas in your vehicle that gets utilized up through routine usage. A cooling system won’t lack refrigerant, unless it has a leakage. It cycles the same refrigerant to cool the air as required. So if you have actually worked with A/C technicians in the past who inform you that the system just requires to be filled up, that is inaccurate.
If you think you have a refrigerant leakage, provide us a call at Byrd Heating and A/c. We will send a professional to your house or office right away to carry out testing that will help validate the issue. If your suspicion is proper, the best alternative is to replace the evaporator coil.
While the cost of a new evaporator coil isn’t always low-cost, it will allow your system to effectively cool your home without having the refrigerant seep out through little holes. Regular upkeep of your A/C system is likewise important to ensure it remains in excellent condition. Altering the filters each month will keep the air moving effectively while filtering dirt, dust, pet hair, dander, pollen, and other particles out of the system.
Throughout your regular upkeep service, the professional can also inspect and clean up the evaporator coil with an option that will eliminate dirt and dust and neutralize acid that kinds and triggers the leakages. A clean coil can transfer heat more efficiently, which means that the system will not have to remain on as long to cool the air.

So keeping your system running as effectively as possible can assist decrease the danger of a refrigerant leakage. Having your air ducts cleaned out will also aid in enhancing the performance of your cooling and heating system. When dust, pollen, dirt, and other debris construct up within the ducts, the system needs to work harder to move the air to numerous parts of the office or home.
Regular duct cleansing is advantageous because it helps to extend the life of various components of your cooling system, enhances performance, and preserves better air quality, so you can breathe much easier. If you end up getting your evaporator coil replaced, the last thing you wish to do is continue using the exact same products that caused the leak in the very first location.
