Franklinton, was established as Franklin Depot in 1839 on land owned by Shemuel Kearney (1791–1860), son of Crawford Kearney and Nancy White. A home constructed by grandfather Shemuel Kearney (1734–1808) was originally located south of town and is currently the second oldest residence in Franklin County, built in 1759. The building was purchased in 2009 and moved to nearby Louisburg for restoration. Franklin Depot changed its name to Franklinton in 1842 when the town was incorporated. Like Franklin County, Franklinton was named for Benjamin Franklin.[5][6]
Every cooling system contains an evaporator coil. The coil circulates refrigerant throughout a loop, which is what cools the air that moves through the spaces in your Guyton, Georgia, office or home. If your evaporator coil begins to leak, it’s easy to stress and not know what to do. However with the assistance of an A/C service technician and a quick reaction to the problem, you can get your evaporator coil up and running in no time.
But when you utilize cleaning items, aerosol air fresheners, adhesives for craft tasks, and other chemicals in your home, they often contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs). As VOCs combine with wetness in the air, they can produce acids that form little pinhole leakages in the coil. These small holes, likewise referred to as “formicary tunneling deterioration,” permit air from the outside into your home.
The problem that lots of homeowner face is knowing whether they have refrigerant leaks. The holes in the copper coil are exceptionally small, so they’re hard to detect just by looking at the part. Your evaporator coil also isn’t instantly noticeable to somebody looking at the HEATING AND COOLING system, so a leakage requires diagnosis by an experienced HEATING AND COOLING specialist.
Here in the Guyton location, we experience warm and damp temperature levels throughout much of the year. So most homeowner rely greatly on their air conditioning systems to keep their homes comfortable throughout the late spring, summer, and even early fall. If your cooling system takes a long period of time to cool your house down, this is a sign that you may have a refrigerant leak.
It may not be able to maintain, leading to warm and uneasy temperature levels throughout interior spaces. When you switch on your air conditioner or lower the thermostat, the cooling system ought to kick on instantly to start blowing cold air through the vents. If the airflow feels weak or does not switch on right now, you might have a refrigerant leakage.

These signs could show other issues with the cooling system, but having warm air come out of your vents when the cooling system is on is never ever an excellent indication. If you do have this occur, switch off your system and call a HVAC professional to check. Keeping the system on may cause further damage.
But this isn’t like the gasoline in your cars and truck that gets utilized up through regular use. A cooling system won’t run out of refrigerant, unless it has a leak. It cycles the very same refrigerant to cool the air as required. So if you’ve dealt with A/C specialists in the past who inform you that the system simply needs to be refilled, that is inaccurate.
If you think you have a refrigerant leak, provide us a call at Byrd Heating and Cooling. We will send a technician to your office or home right away to perform screening that will assist confirm the problem. If your suspicion is right, the very best alternative is to change the evaporator coil.
While the cost of a brand-new evaporator coil isn’t always low-cost, it will allow your system to efficiently cool your home without having the refrigerant seep out through little holes. Routine maintenance of your HVAC system is also important to make sure it’s in good condition. Altering the filters monthly will keep the air moving efficiently while filtering dirt, dust, pet hair, dander, pollen, and other debris out of the system.
Throughout your routine upkeep service, the professional can also examine and clean the evaporator coil with a solution that will eliminate dirt and dust and neutralize acid that forms and triggers the leakages. A clean coil can move heat more effectively, which indicates that the system will not need to stay on as long to cool the air.

So keeping your system running as effectively as possible can assist lower the threat of a refrigerant leak. Having your duct cleaned out will also aid in improving the efficiency of your cooling and heating system. When dust, pollen, dirt, and other debris construct up within the ducts, the system needs to work more difficult to move the air to different parts of the office or home.
Regular duct cleaning is advantageous because it assists to extend the life of numerous elements of your cooling system, enhances effectiveness, and maintains better air quality, so you can breathe easier. If you wind up getting your evaporator coil changed, the last thing you wish to do is continue using the same products that triggered the leak in the first location.
