More About Red Oak, TX
Red Oak is a city in Ellis County, Texas, United States. It is part of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. The population was 10,769 at the 2010 census,[3] up from 4,301 at the 2000 census. The North Central Texas Council of Governments projects that number to grow to 63,329 by the year 2030,[4] as it is on the verge of explosive suburban growth. Red Oak was the exterior location for filming True Stories, directed by David Byrne of Talking Heads and released in 1986.
One of the first settlers to this area was James E. Patton and his family in 1844.[5] They settled in what is now known as Ovilla, Texas, located about two miles from Red Oak.[5] Before Red Oak was given its name in 1849, it was known as Possum Trot due to the animal that lived there.[5] The Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railroad began near the Red Oak area in 1884 and was completed in 1890.[5] This railroad allowed people to travel to Dallas and Waco.[5] In 1949, Red Oak became an incorporated town of Ellis, County.[5]
Every cooling system consists of an evaporator coil. The coil circulates refrigerant throughout a loop, which is what cools the air that moves through the rooms in your Guyton, Georgia, house or workplace. If your evaporator coil starts to leakage, it’s easy to panic and not understand what to do. However with the assistance of a HVAC specialist and a quick action to the problem, you can get your evaporator coil up and running in no time.
However when you utilize cleaning products, aerosol air fresheners, adhesives for craft jobs, and other chemicals in your home, they frequently include unpredictable organic substances (VOCs). As VOCs combine with wetness in the air, they can produce acids that form small pinhole leaks in the coil. These small holes, also referred to as “formicary tunneling deterioration,” allow air from the outdoors into your home.
The problem that many home owners deal with is understanding whether they have refrigerant leaks. The holes in the copper coil are very little, so they’re difficult to identify just by looking at the part. Your evaporator coil also isn’t right away noticeable to someone taking a look at the A/C system, so a leak needs diagnosis by a skilled A/C expert.
Here in the Guyton area, we experience warm and humid temperatures throughout much of the year. So most property owners rely greatly on their cooling systems to keep their houses comfy throughout the late spring, summer season, and even early fall. If your cooling system takes a long period of time to cool your home down, this is an indication that you may have a refrigerant leakage.
It may not have the ability to keep up, resulting in warm and uncomfortable temperatures throughout interior spaces. When you switch on your a/c or lower the thermostat, the cooling system should kick on right away to begin blowing cold air through the vents. If the air flow feels weak or does not turn on right away, you might have a refrigerant leakage.

These signs could suggest other issues with the cooling system, however having warm air come out of your vents when the cooling system is on is never ever a good indication. If you do have this happen, turn off your system and call an A/C expert to inspect. Keeping the system on might trigger further damage.
However this isn’t like the gas in your cars and truck that gets used up through routine use. A cooling system won’t run out of refrigerant, unless it has a leakage. It cycles the exact same refrigerant to cool the air as required. So if you have actually dealt with HVAC service technicians in the past who inform you that the system simply requires to be refilled, that is incorrect.
If you believe you have a refrigerant leak, give us a call at Byrd Heating and A/c. We will send a specialist to your home or office right away to carry out testing that will assist verify the problem. If your suspicion is correct, the best option is to change the evaporator coil.
While the cost of a brand-new evaporator coil isn’t necessarily inexpensive, it will enable your system to effectively cool your home without having the refrigerant seep out through small holes. Regular upkeep of your HVAC system is also essential to make certain it’s in great condition. Altering the filters on a monthly basis will keep the air moving efficiently while filtering dirt, dust, pet hair, dander, pollen, and other particles out of the system.
During your routine upkeep service, the professional can also check and clean the evaporator coil with a service that will remove dirt and dust and reduce the effects of acid that types and triggers the leakages. A clean coil can transfer heat more efficiently, which indicates that the system will not need to remain on as long to cool the air.

So keeping your system running as effectively as possible can help in reducing the danger of a refrigerant leak. Having your duct cleared out will also help in enhancing the effectiveness of your heating & cooling system. When dust, pollen, dirt, and other particles develop within the ducts, the system has to work more difficult to move the air to numerous parts of the office or home.
Routine duct cleaning is useful because it helps to extend the life of different parts of your cooling system, enhances efficiency, and preserves much better air quality, so you can breathe easier. If you wind up getting your evaporator coil changed, the last thing you want to do is continue using the same items that caused the leak in the very first place.
