I have all my wires connected in my first device box ( coming from power source, which is extension cord) , and then that same cord to my single pole switch. 1) Just to confirm, you are using an extension cord that is plugged into a receptacle for your power source, correct? 1) So is there another box with a receptacle besides the receptacle where you are plugging in your extension cord for the power feed?2) Do you have it wired up as per the diagram? The switch needs to be fed with a hot wire (black) on 1 screw terminal and then out of the switch (the other screw terminal) is your switched loop wire which gets connected to the light. Ok so tomorrow I will connect my black and white to the light and marret my to grounds together. The return wire (switched loop) from the switch gets connected to the black wire on the light. I went and bit the bullet and bought that flex-a-lite fan control for like $70 through summit or jegs.

The are cheaper temp control units out there, be sure to get one that either slips into the fins of the radiator or is inserted into the radiator hose. Import charges previously quoted are subject to change if you increase you maximum bid amount.
This cicuot consists of a power source, and a control switch in series with a load ( light foxture ).
I ran my wire up to a receptacle box then up to my switch than ran another wire up to the light and now I am stuck with a black and white single wire just hanging there? Then I ran another wire from there to light and now I have a black and white wire up where my light box receptacle is, what do I do with those wires? And then you are transitioning from the extension cord to NM Romex?2) You mention a light box receptacle. That's what the diagram shows. Also I am starting tomorrow is wiring a parallel circuit, any tips and tricks on how to get it done quickly and the best ways to do it?
See attached diagram and just wire it up using 2 lights in parallel.Feed each SPST switch with the hot wiring with a pigtail, then out of each SPST connect the switch loop to the black wire of the respective lampholder.

This project has to be done by our selves and i just want to know how to go through it and make sure i wire it all right.

If you're using Romex, then you only need (2) two sets of 14-2 to wire it per the diagram.
Then with my romex cable, I marreted my extension cord wires from box with romex wires, black and white wires and attached ground. Let me know how you make out.If you can provide me with the details as to what you want to wire in parallel, ie, receptacles, lights, etc. However, when using NM or Romex cable, you are limited by the quantity of colored conductors (black, red, white and bare copper for the ground) in the cable, therefore you are allowed to use the white conductor as a switched loop on a switch or as a traveler wire on a 3-way switch, but you must identify it as a current conductor which is the reason the black tape is used. Is your project or setup different from the diagram that I posted?3) Are you just using a plain single light socket? Now using another romex cable from switch to final box where the light will be I connected my ground but at the top iam left with 2 wires by them selves, black and white, what happens with them?
