Hexfall's Privacy Policy
This page provides information about what user data this app collect as well as Hexfall's use of user data.
Overview
Hexfall relies on the following third-parties:
- Google Play Services: Used for Google Play authentication and leaderboard;
- AdMob: Used to display interstitial ads;
- Google Analytics: Used to understand how the game is used in order to adjust balance and features.
You can find below the data use of each party.
Hexfall
Hexfall doesn't directly use any of the permissions granted to the application:
- Read phone status and identity
- Read the contents of your USB storage
- Modify or delete the contents of your USB storage
- Receive data from Internet
- View network connections
- Full network access
- Prevent device from sleeping
However, Hexfall uses Google Analytics to gather the following information anonymously:
- What settings are used: colorblind mode, sound/music on/off;
- Which game variant is used: diamond, emerald;
- Menu usage: game restart, leaderboard access, achievements access, tutorial view, facebook clicks, "rate the game" clicks and partner clicks (Urbex)
- Game balance measurement: number of games started vs game won (only for emerald mode)
- Operational metrics: game save migrations

AdMob / Adsense
Amongst the persmissions required for the application to run, AdMob can use the device's network capability to download ads and store them on the device's storage.
Regarding the user data collection, you can refer to this mention from their privacy policy:
Google may use the advertising ID from the device on which the ad is serving to generate interests and demographics (for example, 'sports enthusiasts'). Interests, demographics, and other data may be used to serve better targeted ads to the user. Additionally, your app's privacy policy may need to be updated to reflect the use of personalized advertising (formerly known as interest-based advertising) served via the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Please take a moment to review your app's privacy policies and ensure that they are up-to-date. Because publisher pages and laws vary across countries, we're unable to suggest specific privacy policy language.
To complement personalized advertising (formerly known as interest-based advertising), Ads Settings lets users view and edit their interests and demographics. Some users may choose to opt out of personalized ads.
Google Analytics
Besides the metrics used by Hexfall mentioned above, Google Analytics includes a set of default data. This data is anonymous and contains the device ID, location and usage of the application.
