I had what I thought was a period again on the 19th of February but it was mainly just spotting that lasted 4 days. No one is sure what causes morning sickness but it is suspected that the rising levels of HCG play a major part.
The following week at 7 weeks I had gone to the bathroom and blood started gushing out as if I was on my period and there were blood clots to I thought I had a miscarriage. I called the doctor and explained what happened the nurse said it sounds like I was having a miscarriage. They tested my HGC levels and also did a ultrasound there was a baby still with a good heart but my levels were still too high for one baby to be in the womb.
The APN said it sounds like I was pregnant with twins and had a miscarriage with the other because my beta levels were to high for just one baby. I was really shocked because I didn’t think I was pregnant anymore with the episode of bleeding.
