Erhardt Eichhorn was born on May 6, 1841 in Kingdom of Bavaria.1,2 He was the son of Georg Eichhorn and Catherine.1 He married Mary Leaf after 1860. He died on July 30, 1906 in Louisville, Kentucky, at age 65.2
He was found on a passenger list with Catherine Eichhorn and Georg Eichhorn on May 8, 1854 in New Orleans, Louisiana; Port of Departure: Bremen Ship Name: SS Hermann Port of Arrival: New Orleans, Louisiana Destination: Kentucky.3 He was a apprentice blacksmith in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky, in 1860.1 He was a coachmaker in Louisville in 1870.4 He was a musician in Louisville in 1880.5 He was director of Eicchorn's Orchestra in Louisville.6,7
