Burell Dobbs was born on October 19, 1833 in Habersham County, Georgia.1 He was the son of Balaam Dobbs and Elizabeth Long.1 He married Elizabeth Jane Cornett on November 12, 1854 in Cherokee County, Georgia.1,2 He died on July 11, 1899 in Saline County, Arkansas, at age 65.1 He died on July 11, 1899 in Arkansas at age 65.3
